“Practical Guide to sustainable tourism. Wine Routes of Spain”
Design and writing
PROJECT:
Design and drafting of the document “Practical Guide to sustainable tourism. Wine Routes of Spain” for the 36 different Wine Routes in the country (which include more than 2,300 companies, around 900 entities and integrate more than 1,000 municipalities in Spain).
CLIENT:
Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) for the brand RUTAS DEL VINO DE ESPAÑA, financially supported by the Secretary of State for Tourism.
TARGET:
This is a technical working tool that Rutas del Vino de España commissioned us to develop in depth the term “tourism sustainability”, addressing all its dimensions, so that it could be used to materialise, implement and specify the projects of the routes in this area.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
It was possible to develop a very practical document that will allow all this great diversity of entities and companies to work pragmatically and efficiently, orienting and focusing their projects on all the dimensions of sustainability. It will also help to align these projects with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promote understanding and the need to build a system of indicators to monitor and evaluate the work.
